Te Protejo is an organization that works to advance animal-free research and promote the protection of the environment and animals through the development of innovative policies in Latin American industry.

Our Team
The Te Protejo team is made up of professionals and individuals committed to promoting a cruelty-free lifestyle. Drawing on their diverse areas of expertise and taking a collaborative approach, they work to advance initiatives that contribute to ending the use of animals in industry across Latin America.
Its governing body consists of a Board of Directors elected by its members every three years. The Board of Directors leads the management team, which oversees the staff, interns, and trainees, as well as a team of more than 70 volunteers.

The Theory of Change of Te Protejo guides its work toward its mission by identifying the actions needed to move toward a model free from the use of animals. Through a strategic approach, the organization coordinates its various areas of action to bring about sustainable change over time.
This approach involves engaging with all relevant stakeholder groups, such as advocating for public policy, promoting cruelty-free standards at the corporate level, providing reliable information to the general public, and advancing alternative methods by bridging the gap between science and society. In this way, the organization seeks to influence the industry ecosystem by promoting more ethical and responsible practices that contribute to respect for animals and the environment. -
Impact measurement allows us to evaluate the scope and results of Te Protejo’s work. Through this process, we analyze progress in various areas of action, taking into account indicators that reflect changes in the availability of cruelty-free products, the development of policies, and the adoption of more ethical practices.
This approach contributes to the continuous improvement of our initiatives, strengthening decision-making and the transparency of our work.
