Physicians Formula is an American brand founded in Los Angeles in 1937 by allergist Dr. Frank Crandall, who created makeup specially formulated for his wife, who had sensitive skin and lupus. The brand became famous for its hypoallergenic, dermatologically tested products designed for sensitive skin.
